What is PPx Therapy?

How is PPx Therapy different from other laser and light based hair removal treatments?
There are several key differences between PPx and other laser and light based hair removal treatments.

1. PPx Therapy offers superior results with the most advanced treatment technology.
2. Treatments are gentle and painless.
3. Treatments are faster. Upper lip hair removal may take 1 minute, treating underarms might take up to 3 minutes, while treating larger areas such as the back or legs could take up to 20 minutes.
4. PPx does not require pre-treatment with anesthetics or numbing creams.
5. Treatments are more hygienic with no risk of infection.

How long will the effects last?
Typically, one needs to return for a touch-up treatment once a year after completing the first full series of hair removal treatments. However, this may vary from person to person and for different body parts.

How does PPx Hair Removal feel?
PPx Hair Removal is very comfortable. You will feel a gentle and warm sensation as your skin is drawn into the treatment tip. A very gentle light energy will be applied to the treatment area, immediately after which you will feel your skin being gently released back into normal position. Patients describe the sensation as being similar to that of a warm message.

Do I need to take time off from work to recuperate?
PPx is a fast, no down-time procedure. You can resume normally activities including going back to work immediately post treatment.

Will I need anesthesia?
No, PPx Therapy is a no pain treatment. No anesthesia or numbing creams are necessary

How namy treatments will I need?
Typically. 3-7 treatments are needed to get excellent long-term results. However, the exact number of treatments varies from person to person and often varies between body parts being treated.
