Leila Esmaeili is a board-certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She earned her Master’s Degree from the Wingate University Physician Assistant Program and completed an intensive two-year fellowship at the Dermatology, Laser and Vein Specialists of the Carolinas, where she gained invaluable expertise in medical and surgical dermatology. Leila treats a wide range of general dermatological conditions, with a special focus on acne and skin cancer detection and treatment. She believes in the uniqueness of every individual and tailors her approach to each patient’s specific needs, prioritizing education and empowerment regarding skin health.

In January 2024, Leila’s life took a profound turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She spent the majority of the year in treatment, emerging with a powerful story of resilience. Committed to raising awareness, she uses her experience to educate, inspire, and uplift others  and strives to create a supportive environment for patients navigating similar challenges. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, exercise, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
