Christen Samaan, MD

Dr. Samaan is a board-certified dermatologist and the current ASDS-accredited Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellow at DLVSC. She completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Samaan studied biomedical engineering at the University of Virginia then pursued her doctoral degree at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr. Samaan is well published in peer-reviewed journals and is active in clinical trials related to cosmetics and devices, patch testing, and surgery. She has presented at many national meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, American Society of Dermatopathology, Winter Clinical Dermatology Conference, Atlantic Derm Conference, and multiple Grand Rounds presentations at Penn State Hershey. She has obtained multiple grants for her research and won multiple awards for her presentations.
